In concert with Canada 150, the Humans for Peace Institution (HPI) and the Ottawa Chinese Community Service Centre (OCCSC) are organizing a project “Children for Peace – From Heart to Heart”. HPI and OCCSC will be hosting an art exhibition of 40 paintings drawn by the Syrian refugee children in Ottawa. This exhibition is designed to send a message of hope and gratitude from them to the sick children at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO). The paintings of the art exhibit will be sold in a silent auction, all proceeds will be donated to CHEO. This project (children for peace from heart to heart) was designed to engage the new comers in the community, to teach kids that the real happiness comes when we help others, to teach them that here is home.
Thank you for joining us at “Children for Peace, From Heart to Heart”.
Our part is done now, we are looking for your help in bidding online (until April 14th only) and spreading the word about this project (Online, social media, friends, family, coworkers, etc) to make the dream of these children come true. And please remember that real change starts from You.
